Thank you to the Geoff and Sally White Charitable Fund at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada for their generous contribution to support The Good Grief Project. The Good Grief Project provides support to children and teens, ages 5 to 18, who are dealing with loss. It’s an opportunity to help them cope with Family (divorce, stepfamilies and incarceration); Personal (stress, anger and low self-esteem); and Social (peer acceptance, conflict and all loss) problems and issues in their day-to-day lives. The Good Grief groups meet every week from January to June and September to December. With 14 years of experience, the Solace Tree staff and volunteers are well-prepared to help families deal with the emotional strife caused by death, and all loss.
